With funding from the State Government as Grant-in-Aid, the Agency has conducted Awareness Campaign on Bamboo Utilization and Set up   clusters at various villages as given below;

TRAINING ON BAMBOO HANDICRAFT


As approved by State Bamboo Steering Committee held on 23rd May, 2014, Bamboo Development Agency has conducted training on bamboo handicraft for 8 clusters under Bamboo Development Agency during 12th January, 2015 – 5th June, 2015.

The artisans who undergone the training programme can make products for commercial purpose for which Bamboo Development Agency will act as marketing agent for the clusters and promote the products towards outside the state.
